Workshop + Performance

Sorry Mom x Orefici11 is the result of several workshops with a group of young people aged between 16 and 20, which ended with a performance featuring the workshop participants. During the workshop, many texts were analyzed, from which the young people extracted phrases that were used to customize the clothes they wore during the performance. The clothes were cut, embroidered, sewn and personalized with the phrases chosen during the workshop, which were transferred to the new clothes using thermo adhesive material.

The performance and the project were musically supported by a group of young rappers who performed during the evening, also wearing the clothes created during the workshop.

The project was sponsored by VF Corporation, The North Face, Timberland, Dickies and Napapijri.

^(ITA)Sorry Mom x Orefici11 è il risultato di diversi workshop con un gruppo di giovani tra i 16 e i 20 anni, che si sono conclusi con una performance che ha visto protagonisti i partecipanti al workshop. Durante il workshop sono stati analizzati alcuni testi, dai quali i giovani hanno estratto frasi che sono state utilizzate per personalizzare gli abiti che hanno indossato durante la performance Gli abiti sono stati tagliati, ricamati, cuciti e personalizzati con le frasi scelte durante il laboratorio, che sono state trasferite sui nuovi abiti con materiale termoadesivo.

La performance e il progetto sono stati supportati musicalmente da un gruppo di giovani rapper che si sono esibiti durante la serata, indossando anch'essi gli abiti creati durante il workshop.
